Who Needs Luck: Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Go read the entire chapter of Hebrews 11. Live by faith in God Almighty, live by faith in His son Jesus. We all have the choice each day to walk around with the mindset that we place our faith, hope, and trust in God or the idea that we will just leave it all up to chance, to coincidence. Choose faith in the Lord.
Matthew 14:25-31 – “25During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. 27But Jesus immediately said to them: ‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’ 28″Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” 29″Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ”Lord, save me!” 31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ”You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
Seek God daily, invite Him into every part of your life. Trust that God knows what He is doing. Ask God to strengthen your faith, to strengthen your trust in Him. Run to God, even if the path seems as unstable as water. If you start to sink and become overwhelmed, cry out to God and He will answer. 2 Chronicles 15:2 – “The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you.”

Let it become a part of you, let the scripture be written on your heart and move you to live your life in obedience to God out of love.
