There are 6,872 unreached people groups all over the world. They make up about 41% of the population of Earth. Or to put it another way, there are 2.8 billion people who live in an area where there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize. One of the main reasons that a group of people remain unreached is because they do not have a Bible in their language.
In the midst of over 10,000 college students in Ft. Worth, Texas during Passion Conference 2011, a 5-year translation project was COMPLETELY funded for the Koso people in Mali, Africa. PRAISE GOD!! Over $220,000.00 was given to the Seed Company, a Bible translation group affiliated with Wycliff Bible Translators. We were able to be a small part of this funding, but no gift is too small because together we are a force for good.
We were also able to purchase and send 70 Spanish New Testament Bibles to a small village just outside of El Progresso, Honduras. Our prayer is that the seeds planted by these efforts will grow wildly and rapidly and that God will be glorified and Jesus will be made known.
